Developer of turn-of-key care facilities, LNT Care Developments (“LNT”), is currently active on 25 sites across the UK.  All sites in their development pipeline have been pre-sold to operators including Barchester, Black Country Housing, Country Court Care, Oakdale and Sanctuary. As a result, LNT has recruited Laura Tilley as Land Director to join their growing site finding team to continue to bring new site opportunities to customer operators.

The team is working to find suitable land for development for new facilities, offering targeted solutions for turn-of-key opportunities in line with operators’ growth and location strategies. Laura will be concentrating on locations in the South of England.

Nick Broadbent, Development Director for LNT Care Developments said: “As we continue to build and strengthen relationships with existing and new care operators it is important that our turn-of- key solutions meet the emerging and specific needs of our partners and the care sector in general.  We have continued to invest in further resources to add to our development team to enable us to proactively support this rise in demand and fulfil our clients’ requirements in a more targeted fashion.  This in turn has led to an expansion of our construction capabilities, with direct labour and supply chains fully operational across the country to support the sustainability of our pipeline.  We welcome Laura who will be significant in helping us to extend our development pipeline into new regions”.

The increase in demand for sites has been further bolstered by the recent announcement that sister company Ideal Carehomes (“Ideal”) is looking to expand their portfolio once again. The renewal of the relationship with Ideal will provide valuable feedback on the operational aspect of LNT’s specially designed homes and help the continual improvement of product and service.

Nick continued: “Whilst Ideal’s growth will be organic and very much dependent on the sites we are able to make available to them, the design intelligence building for our sister-company will give us is invaluable for improving our turn-of-key solutions for all our customers.  As a developer of such a specialist product especially at a time when both demand and expectation are so high, having the ability to test design tweaks internally, understanding the effect on care delivery and operational efficiency sets us apart from the market.  The relationship with Ideal will be LNT Care Development’s way to ensure we stay ahead with the latest and most innovative care facility designs, based on the day-to-day realities of delivering care.”

LNT Care Developments is a finalist for Property Developer of the Year at the Annual Health Investor Awards held in June.
