One of France`s Leading Integrated Building Automation Systems Providers Launches in the UK

French building automation systems provider Solutions IN is launching its service offering in the UK. One of only eight companies in France qualified to offer such building automation systems services, Solutions IN has also identified a gap in the UK market, particularly in London.

The company is targeting architects, owners of luxury residences and property promoters with its range of integrated building automation systems services, using the likes of Crestron, KNX and Lutron.

The person behind the company is Managing Director Jean-Luc Marro, MSc., an expert in the Home Automation industry, who set up the company in 2005. Marro saw a gap in the market for a company which could offer higher level services than traditional electrical installations. An Electronic and Electrical Engineer by background and a certified KNX and Crestron systems supplier and installer, he understands the high level of technical knowledge required to competently integrate home automation systems in high specification buildings. Marro forecasts exponential growth in the home automation market between now and 2020, as high income home owners no longer want to be tied to one home and want to be able to keep an eye on their homes from anywhere in the world.

Liz Menches, Marketing Director at Solutions IN, told us ‘These days, more than ever, clients are wanting to take advantage of the incredible freedom such home automation systems provide. Today, they can control their audio, visual and home security systems from their holiday home in the sun via their PC or mobile phone, practically at the click of a button. They can monitor their home security systems from their phone whilst on holiday and even receive alerts of any unusual activity; they can automate and optimize use of home machines when energy costs are lowest and use voice recognition to turn home devices on and off from their bed. We are living in an age where some consider these systems no longer to be a luxury, but a bare necessity. Whilst easy to use, the systems demand a very high level of technical understanding to combine and install.”
