Reynaers is proud sponsor of SFE faҫades awards

Leading aluminium systems company Reynaers has partnered with the highly respected Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) to support FAÇADE2015, the international awards for façade engineering excellence.

This year’s awards are now open and are free of charge to enter. The three categories for architects and contractors are: Façade of the Year 2015 (New build); Façade of the Year 2015 (Refurbishment); and Outstanding Façade Innovation 2015.

Sales Director at Reynaers Paul Duffy said: “Reynaers is a keen supporter of innovation in the construction industry and these awards will recognise the very best people involved in the design and implementation of building façades.

“We look forward to seeing outstanding designs across each of the three categories.”

Competition organiser Graham Hackley said: “We are incredibly happy that Reynaers has supported us to highlight the skills and vision that are creating the best of these projects.

“Some of the world’s most treasured structures are appreciated because of the key element of their façades and we are seeking to reward those who are at the cutting-edge of building design.”

Entries for thimage 2e competition must be received by November 2nd; any façade contract practically complete between 31st December 2012 and 31st December 2014 and not previously entered in an SFE competition will be considered for the
awards. The awards will be presented at the prestigious Glass Supper conference and dinner at the Sky Garden – also known as the Walkie Talkie – in London on December 3rd. Further details on how to enter are available at www.sfecompetition.org.

The prizes will be awarded by an esteemed panel of judges that includes some of the foremost experts from the field of façade engineering and design, including Mark Taylor, David Metcalfe, Patrick Ryan, Saverio Pasetto, Steve Lo and Graham Hackley.

The awards will be presented by competition Chairman and CEO of Wintech Group Chris Macey and Jane Duncan, incoming President of RIBA.
