UK BUSINESSES TO GET A HELPING HAND IN ALL THINGS COMPLIANCE WITH NEW LEARNING ACADEMY

With it becoming increasingly difficult for UK businesses to keep up with the volume of ever-changing regulation that they must adhere to, one leading compliance training expert is providing a much-needed helping hand with the launch of its very own learning academy.

Bureau Veritas, a world-leader in compliance and risk management, has extended its training provision with the launch of a new training facility designed to provide businesses with the insight, support and practical learnings needed to ensure workplace best practice.

Officially launched on 26th March 2018, the Bureau Veritas Learning Academy offers learning solutions, covering health and safety, fire science and management, regulatory, risk management and certification, aimed at key business stakeholders such as duty holders, operatives , management and senior executives.

Customers can choose to opt to receive their training face-to-face, delivered by an expert trainer on site, or attend a public course held at Bureau Veritas UK training centre’s In London, Manchester, Birmingham and Aberdeen. Alternatively, for added convenience, courses can be delivered via a virtual classroom, whereby training is delivered by a live online tutor so that delegates can ask questions and interact in real-time with colleagues in their own and other organisations, or through e-learning modules enabling 24/7 access and learning on the go.

Darren McGrath, director of training, for Bureau Veritas, said: “Having delivered bespoke and public training courses on all aspects of compliance and risk management to many world leading organisations over the years, we are well versed in the complexities and challenges today’s businesses face when it comes to meeting their compliance requirements.

“Just to look at this year alone, new radon regulation comes into effect, the 18th Edition Wiring Regulation is being published in July and there are proposed changes to the Building Regulations to contend with in addition to the transitioning of ISO Standards. It is therefore not surprising that keeping up to date with requirements can be a minefield for businesses and Bureau Veritas is well positioned to support learning at a variety of levels,.”

This latest move comes as new research has shown that UK businesses are increasingly struggling to keep up to date with compliance regulation with 52% of multinational UK corporations admitting they know that they have unresolved compliance issues.1

“We have expanded our proposition with the launch of the Bureau Veritas Learning Academy, in order to provide every level of business, from SMEs and family businesses through to multi-nationals, with the expert, results-driven training needed to ensure they maintain best practice and stay compliant.

“Covering a broad range of topics delivered by our expert trainers and carefully selected partners, and available via face to face, our unique virtual classroom facility or through e-learning modules, the result is the ultimate resource for businesses that seek to improve their health and safety management, reduce risk and facilitate a smooth transition to revised compliance standards.”
