UMBRELLA & WAGSTAFF OPENS ITS DOORS TO A 360 DEGREE EXPLORATION OF  CIRCULAR DESIGN AND REUSE EXPERTISE AT CLERKENWELL DESIGN WEEK 2024.

From 21 – 23 May the Umbrella Furniture and Wagstaff central Clerkenwell showroom transforms into a hive of knowledge exchange centring around the core theme of RENEW | REFRESH | REDEFINE at Clerkenwell Design Week 2024. Discover some of the latest designs and brands that are leading the way in Circular Design and the art of the possible when it comes to redefining existing furniture. Presenting an exciting schedule of activations including twelve established brands unveiling their new and exciting product presentation and circular design journeys, two stimulating evening panel debates plus a dedicated CPD workshop on sustainability. Coupled with Umbrella & Wagstaff’s famed daily hospitality, this renowned Brewhouse Yard showroom is a key CDW destination not to miss.

 

‘Umbrella+Friends’ celebrates their partnership with twelve carefully selected brands that are leading the way in circular design. Visit the unique and immersive presentations from Edsbyn, FDB Møbler, Isomi, Jott Studio, Le Klint Lighting, Normann Copenhagen, Square Bear, Swedese, T6Int, Ton, True Design and Waste to Wonder, where each brand celebrates circularity and presents new and current products from their collections.

The stage is set for a series of panel debate and workshops. Roddy Clarke and OnOffice magazine will be hosting a panel debate entitled ‘The Journey to Circular Design’ on Tuesday 21 May 6 – 7pm, joined by fellow panellists from Edsbyn, Gensler, Isomi, MCM and Waste to Wonder. Wednesday’s stage activities begin with a CPD Lunchtime Workshop 1 – 2pm hosted by sample pioneers Swatchbox delving into the global issues of sample waste, handing the mic over to Mic Jordan and WORKS magazine 6 – 7pm for an exciting panel debate entitled ‘How are you washing your greens?” joined by esteemed experts from TPBennett, Ethos, For Everyday Life, MCM and the FA Premier League.
