-First £15.1 million of loans successfully redeemed with zero defaults or capital losses-
Glenhawk, the specialist property lender, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Watson as Portfolio Manager, effective immediately. She joins Glenhawk’s 21-strong team from Octopus Property, as the business continues to attract new borrowers and disrupt the short term lending market.
Since launching in January 2018 Glenhawk has lent over £50 million, across 87 loans with a total Gross Asset Value of £103 million, and has originated over £750 million of enquiries. Demonstrating the ongoing strength of its due diligence and underwriting process, Glenhawk has completed a total of £15.1 million of redemptions, equating to 30 loans at an average length of 10 months, with zero loan defaults or capital losses.

Sophie will be based in London and report directly to Nick Hilton, Head of Lending. She will be responsible for post completion administration as well as providing support and efficiency of process for all borrowers, from loan enquiry through to redemption.
Sophie’s previous roles include Property Servicing Assistant at Octopus Property, Redemptions Officer at Amicus Finance Plc, and Collections & Litigations Agent at The North View Group. She has extensive experience liaising with clients, brokers and solicitors and is a capable cash flow forecaster.
