British General (BG), part of the Luceco PLC Group, has recently completed a refurbishment project of The Radisson Hotel located at Dublin Airport. Committed to innovation and improving productivity for hotel guests and employees, BG has worked together with National Electrical Wholesalers, PDMK Electrical Contractors/Engineers and Global Design Concepts to install fresh, high-spec designs whilst reducing the energy levels consumed by old fittings.
The Radisson’s motivation for the work was to undertake a whole refurb, completed floor by floor, allowing the hotel to remain open and operate as usual to limit any financial impact. This was achieved by supplying and fitting the first floor of rooms with a range of HMDI ports, Nexus metal USB switches and sockets, meeting both the client’s needs and providing guests with stylish and practical accessories to assist them during their stay.
Thanks to a comprehensive and extensive product range, that combines modern styling with quality and reliability, after working closely with interior design company, Global Design Concepts, BG has since received a further pipeline of work with The Radisson Hotel, to refurbish an additional 88 rooms across the other four floors. As part of the renovation project, the Radisson Blu hotel can look forward to reduced running costs.
At a total cost of only €18,000, BG, a leading brand in the socket and switches world, has provided The Radisson and its customers with peace of mind for the safety of the environment with all of their wiring accessory products manufactured to the latest British Standards.
