Mid-Sussex Timber will be holding their Annual Open Day this September, taking place at their East Grinstead branch on the 18th September 2019.
Mid-Sussex Timber, who was founded in 1929, continues to operate as a family-run business to this day, supplying directly imported timber to the building trade and retail market. Now one of the largest stockists in Sussex, they operate across four branches based in East Grinstead, where the open day is taking place, as well as Haywards Heath, Forest Row and most recently, Crowborough.
The open day, which is open to both trade customers as well as members of the public, is expected to be an exciting day for the business with some impressive box deals and promotions on offer, including a Jack 880 22-inch saw for box quantities, as well as big reductions across their stock clothing and pack and pallet deals. Key suppliers are also expected to be in attendance, including Makita UK, Toolbank, Joyner Bolt, Bond-It, Estimators Online and Crystal Clear Group.
With the day kicking off from 7:30am, customers will be treated to a bacon rolls and a cup of tea for the early birds! There will also be a raffle on the day where customers will have the chance to win a DMR109 Makita Radio, which has kindly been donated by Makita UK, with every customer who spends over £5 plus VAT on stocked items receiving a raffle ticket with their purchase.

This year Mid-Sussex Timber’s open day falls on a particularly poignant year, with the business having celebrated its 90th year in business earlier this year at Lingfield Park Racecourse, where the business’ Managing Director (and son to the founder) Tim Waters, presented an award.
