NEW WORKWEAR BRAND CELEBRATES LAUNCH WITH RUGBY CHARITY PARTNERSHIP @AxiniteUK

Axinite, a new workwear brand, has announced a partnership with Rugby for Heroes, a charity that helps military personnel make the transition to civilian life.

Hosted by TV’s Nick Knowles and sponsored by Axinite, the Rugby for Heroes Mike Tindall Remembrance Dinner took place on Wednesday evening and raised more than £51,000.

The money will be used to support servicemen and women through the charity’s unique Transition Through Rugby course whereby military personnel can obtain rugby coaching qualifications, as well as providing funding for further education and business initiatives.

Axinite offers a range of customisable endurance workwear and footwear for the professional tradesman. Its parent company Groupe Atlantic is the business behind popular domestic and commercial heating brands such as Ideal Boilers, Keston and Gledhill, and operates in a sector that often provides a new career for military personnel.

Jo Shepherd, Chief Marketing Officer at Axinite, commented: “Servicemen and women leave the forces with a huge variety of transferrable skills, many of which can be applied to construction, engineering and the electrical and plumbing trades.

“Setting yourself up in a new career can be a challenge. We’re pleased to do our bit by supporting the fantastic work and fundraising activities of Rugby for Heroes, and by introducing people to our range of endurance workwear – which might come in handy down the line.”

Nicola Baker, at Rugby for Heroes, added: “When the time comes for a person to leave the armed forces, we believe the rugby community can offer a sense of belonging.

“Through rugby teams, coaching and the wider community we are a dependable friend in a time of transition – and with the help of Axinite and our other sponsors, we can provide the financial and personal support our heroes deserve.”

Taking place on London’s iconic British warship, HMS Belfast, all attendees at the Mike Tindall Remembrance Dinner were given Axinite goodie bags with giveaways and information about the brand.

The range includes fast-drying polo and t-shirts, as well as insulated and hooded jackets, and a variety of trousers, shorts, shoes and boots.

The fabrics used in the Axinite range have been designed and woven to withstand the daily demands of working in the trades – and the footwear collection is water-resistant, anti-static and metal-free, with an energy-absorbing heel.

There is no minimum order quantity for individual tradespeople looking to achieve the same professional look and feel as those employed by larger businesses, which includes premium embroidery and personalisation.

Members of the Ideal Boilers Installer Connect loyalty scheme can redeem points against the Axinite range.
