Leeds based flooring retailer Stories Flooring has recently completed one of its most exciting projects yet. After receiving a call from local entrepreneur and playboy, Dave Matthews, the team got to work revamping his new ultra-swanky apartment development.
The Penthouse 2901 is situated in Bridgwater Place, central Leeds. It boasts a spectacular interior, with classic movie references scattered throughout. Boasting amazing 180-degree views over the city and West Yorkshire, the apartment needed a floor that would complement its 5-star ambience.
Dave had an unlimited design budget to create the ultimate bachelor pad. Now, it was time for the team at Stories Flooring to help complete the luxurious transformation. After a lot of debate, the Stories Envy range was selected.
Benefitting from a rich, beige texture, this durable yet super-soft carpet is stylish yet subtle. This allowed the focus to stay mostly on the breathtaking interior of the space. The carpet was installed in the open-plan lounge, alongside two large bedrooms. In the bedrooms it helped to create a more intimate and cosy space. Stories also installed the Bentley Classic luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) in the kitchen which gave a great contrast with the carpet.
Speaking of the renovation, Dave Matthews states:
“Stories really helped us put the finishing touches into what is, in my opinion, an amazing apartment. The Envy carpet adds a slight touch of softness and femininity into what is primarily a gentleman’s paradise. It will make for an amazing home to whoever decides to purchase, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a main home. It’s a place to make memories.”
Within the development, there are a lot of great amenities. These include a sushi bar, 24-hour gym, a supermarket, hair salon and a Starbucks.
Now the flooring has been taken care of, the apartment is ready for a buyer. Just a stone’s throw away from the Granary Wharf District, it won’t be long before this Dubai-standard apartment gets snapped up.
