THE MAGICAL HIDEAWAY
A celebration of great design within the great outdoors, leading wood floor specialists Havwoods has collaborated with Blue Forest and Randle Siddeley to create The Magical Hideaway installation at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023.
This fairy tale creation, designed by Blue Forest, includes a characterful treehouse and hillside hollow set, paired with a stunning enchanted meadow garden – with high-quality and sustainable wood flooring and cladding provided by Havwoods. Designed for the curious, the treehouse features rustic detailing and whimsical furnishings, complemented with Havwoods’ Alzon and Zephyr products.
Offering a diverse range of textures and hues, the rustic Zephyr cladding provides charming personality and warmth to the interior of the treehouse, pairing beautifully with the traditional tones of the 1-Strip and Herringbone planks that run throughout the space.
With a design mirroring the beauty and simplicity of the natural world, and with a resemblance to the homes found in Hobbiton from the famous Lord of the Rings novels, its striking round door and gnarly wooden features open into a warm and welcoming interior filled with the unexpected.
Created in collaboration with leading landscape architecture company Randle Siddeley, the Magical Hideaway aims to brings a touch of fun to the outside world, reflecting Havwoods’ own brand ethos.
