Two students from Hadlow College have joined the team based in Horsmondon near Tunbridge Wells to participate in work experience as part of the core units of their course.
Tom Gozzett is a Level 2 forestry and aborcultural student, whilst Angus Knowler is studying Level 3 in Countryside Management, at Hadlow College.Both students are very adaptable, keen and fitted into the team well, and are planting at the moment, alongside scrub clearance.
All of the projects they’ve been working on are ecologically sensitive sites in Kent and East Sussex. This includes working on habitats for the benefit of Dormice, bats and great crested newts under the guidance and supervision of Twigs qualified and experienced ecologists. They have also been involved in the planting of thousands of trees for the benefit of wildlife, habitats and planning conditions for the solar and construction industry.
