Joseph Valente, founder and Managing Director of ImpraGas has enjoyed one success after another this September. Joseph won a place in the prestigious Start Ups Young Gun Class of 2017, bestowed to just 30 outstanding entrepreneurs aged under 35. In their first year of entering the UK Biz Awards, ImpraGas was shortlisted for Operational Excellence and Joseph was shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year. Whilst at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Joseph was shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
ImpraGas, founded in 2012 by The Apprentice winner Joseph Valente, has had a stellar year so far. Having already won the East of England Boiler Installer of the Year they are now through to the National finals taking place on the 29th September. Joseph has also tripled the company’s turnover since 2016 and seen their most successful summer yet with sales increasing by 200% compared to July 2016.
Speaking about their wins and shortlisting’s, Joseph comments: “We’ve had an outstanding year so far with sales increasing by over 200% in the summer compared to last year. Our business expansion is going to plan too as we’re now covering most of the South East and moving through to the Midlands. But, to be recognised by so many different national and high-profile awards is fantastic. I couldn’t be prouder of my team who have all contributed to ImpraGas’s success.
“It’s an honour and a privilege to also be nominated and recognised as an entrepreneur myself. Having won The Apprentice in 2015, I’ve continued to push myself to not only deliver for myself, but also my team and to afford others the same opportunities I’ve had. We’ve continued to take on more apprentices at ImpraGas, and I’ve worked with many schools and colleges to help inspire children to get out there and know they can accomplish anything they put their mind to no matter their background or education level. 2017 also saw me buy back my company from Lord Sugar, a tremendous achievement and one I couldn’t be prouder of.
