FIT FOR LIFE

High end door manufacturer, Apeer, has produced two new guides to fitting the company’s double rebate, triple glazed doors.

With correct fitting critical to the performance of Apeer’s all-GRP composite doorsets, the new manuals cover installation of both the door and frame – and door and sidelight.

Said Apeer marketing manager Linda Tomb: “Because our doors are really robust products, they can require a little adjustment to ensure they are fitted correctly. Our Apeer 70 and MODO collections offer superb weather proofing and insulation benefits which can only be optimised with correct fitting.”

The manuals are now available for download on the Apeer website www.apeer.co.uk. Hard copy formats are planned for next year, as are separate instructions for stable doors, double doors, toplights and arches.

Said Linda: “The guides are designed to help seasoned fitters with step by step, illustrated fitting instructions to make the job easier for them – and to maximise benefits for the homeowner.”

Officially recognised as ‘Energy A Rated’, Apeer composite doors feature a high density polyurethane core which offers a higher level of strength and insulation compared to traditional doors. The double rebate system – a ‘lip’ on the vertical edge where the door meets the frame – adds additional draught protection by creating an internal secondary seal.

Its toughened, triple glazed window panels are also highly insulated and come complete with a Q Seal warm edge Super Spacer system which significantly improves long-term durability, energy efficiency, condensation resistance and sound transmission.

Says Linda Tomb: “A well fitted, good front door will put an end to cold and draughty hallways and ensure a warm welcome awaits the minute it is opened.”

Apeer doors come with a 10-year structural guarantee and full choice of standard, premium, heritage and bespoke colours.
