Pippa Paton Design enters its second decade of business success with the appointment of two new designers and a specialist PR agency
Pippa Paton Design is an interior design, architecture and project management studio based in Oxfordshire, with a reputation for transforming residential properties with absolute integrity for 21st century living. Their speciality is creating fabulous bespoke interior and exterior living spaces in the Cotswolds and London, and they are particularly experienced in the renovation of period and listed properties.
This year marks the celebration of the company’s 10th anniversary. During this time completed projects have included everything from an historic Thames riverboat to a Cotswold estate; state-of-the-art pool complexes to bespoke kitchen designs; the renovation of listed manor houses and cottages; and large period properties to contemporary apartments in London.
The company is delighted to announce the appointment of two new in-house designers, and a dedicated PR agency as the business continues to grow. This summer will see the completion of four major renovation projects, including the remodelling of an historic Cotswolds barn to create a ‘suspended’ glass-sided master ensuite and a substantial extension to an old rectory to form an open-plan kitchen/dining/living space.
The new designers will be working with Pippa and her existing team on new projects, which include the re-modelling of a large barn with the creation of ancillary accommodation and an extension to a listed farmhouse.
The two new designers are Kristina Hawley and Laura Cruze. Kristina is from the US where she has almost 10 years’ experience in the interior design, fabrics and antiques businesses in New York and San Francisco. Laura Cruze has been working in London for a well-respected interior design studio and is now moving back to her Gloucestershire roots, to fulfil her passion for the Cotswolds.
The PR agency appointed by Pippa Paton Design is Deco Living Media Ltd, a renowned interiors and lifestyle agency headed up by Joanna Welch, who has over 25 years’ industry experience.
Design Director, Pippa Paton says: ‘We are delighted to announce these new appointments which reflect the way our business has grown organically over the past ten years. The two new designers will add tremendous talent and further capability to our existing team, enabling us to further broaden our portfolio and client services whilst ensuring our focus on quality and attention to detail are not compromised. Two key projects that have completed this spring are the total renovation and remodelling of a 12,000 square foot home in Boar’s Hill, and the transformation of a Cotswold barn, with the focus on uncovering its authentic character. Our current live projects include the radical remodelling of a large single storey Cotswold dwelling into a substantial family home, which is fabulously exciting to be working on. It is this variation in our projects, both from an architectural perspective and also the very individual interior design requirements, which will benefit from our expanded design team.’
