NATIONAL GAS SERVICE COMPANY SWITCHES TO BOILERMAG

In a highly competitive market sector, Eclipse Magnetic’s, one of the leading central heating system filter manufacturers in the UK, is seeing its market share grow as Social Housing Landlords specify that system filters should be fitted to existing and new heating installations.

Aberdeen City Council and its current gas maintenance contractor, Gas Call Services, is one of the latest partnerships to discover the benefits of installing the Boilermag.

So why opt for Boilermag?Contaminated core installer hands smaller file

Stuart Laming, Operations Manager at Gas Call Services explains: “We take what we do very seriously and like to test equipment to see that it’s delivering the best possible performance for our customers. System filters have become an essential part of heating system design, so we decided to review and test all the leading brands in the marketplace for performance and practicality – including the ease of fit.  So we compared different models and specifications to propose to our clients
and asked our installers for their input.  They in particular liked the Boilermag features such as the 360 degree adjustment, and in-line fit capability.

“We also liked the fact that Boilermag has a large collection capacity which is key and allows the unit to continue to work effectively between annual service visits. It is also more compact in height than some of the other units. All round, Boilermag came out top of the tests we undertook and following approval from Aberdeen City Council, we made the decision to switch to Boilermag. Since Gas Call Services began installing the Boilermag filters on the service and maintenance contract, the council has seen a dramatic drop in call outs from the properties where they have been fitted.”

Gas Call Services has recently been awarded a three year central heating contract with Aberdeen City Council where Boilermag is the system filter specified.
