IT’S ELECTRIC: THE HOME LIFT THAT IS REPLACING STAIRLIFTS

The Stiltz Electric Home Lift is the ideal alternative to a stairlift for builders and architects working on a refurbishment project and who have a client looking for a product to assist them getting up the stairs.

For decades, the stairlift has been the preferred choice for helping people who have conditions, such as arthritis, overcome the difficulty of climbing up and down stairs at home.
But the Stiltz Electric Home Lift offers substantial benefits compared to a stairlift and is a surprisingly affordable option with minimal running costs.
The Stiltz domestic lift is stylish and modern in design compared to the basic and dated appearance of a stairlift and provides a simpler, faster and more convenient way of getting between floors. Unlike a stairlift, a Stiltz home lift can comfortably carry two people and is useful for moving heavy objects such as luggage and boxes, up floors.
A Stiltz lift takes up a remarkably small space and the aesthetics of the home do not need to be compromised leaving the stairs to be kept the same. In comparison, a stairlift can negatively impact the look of the staircase and obstruct the top or bottom floors. Another substantial advantage of having a Stiltz domestic lift installed compared to a stairlift is that it can be fitted virtually anywhere in the home. There are no noisy hydraulics or vacuum systems, like conventional home lifts, as the lift is totally electric. This also means the Stiltz home lift is quieter than many stairlifts.
The Stiltz lift simply plugs straight into the wall using a regular 13 amp power socket like any other household appliance, with a self-contained electric motor housed out of sight at the top of lift. The Stiltz Electric Home Lift draws a maximum of three amps on ascent so is low on power consumption and very economical. There are also no requirements for load bearing walls as the lift is a self-supporting structure thanks to the Stiltz dual rail technology. Two parallel and vertical guides bear the load of the entire lift so no major structural alterations are required.

The most common place for a Stiltz lift is travelling between a downstairs room such as a hallway or living room and arriving upstairs in a bedroom or the landing.
But it can be fitted within the dead space of a turning staircase and it is spacious but compact enough to fit into a cupboard on both floors. It is also capable of allowing users to enter and exit from both sides of the lift on different floors.
The Stiltz Electric Lift is compliant with all European standards and assembled in the UK. Standard features include a battery back-up in case of a power cut, obstruction sensors and a key lock to stop unauthorised use. The roof of the lift is covered with the original floor so when it is downstairs it does not intrude upstairs. Other features include seats, grab bars, LED down lights and a remote control to call the lift from any floor.
