Forget the 12 days of Christmas, it’s all about the 42 days to the January Furniture Show!
As the lead up to the industry’s main exhibition starts, visitors are in for a treat with a raft of big brand names is set to take part in the four-day show at the NEC, Birmingham (24-27 January) – an ideal venue for the furniture industry’s annual showcase event.
This year visitors will have an all-new experience, thanks to the new onsite £150 million leisure and entertainment destination – Resorts World – which plays host to major retailers, 18 bars and restaurants, an 11-screen Cineworld and the four star Genting Hotel and International Casino.
Significant investment has also been made to Birmingham New Street station with the new concourse three and a half times bigger, providing more space for the 170,000 passengers who use the station every day. The transformation also includes a glass atrium roof and a flagship John Lewis.
All 450 plus exhibitors from the UK and abroad are gearing up to showcase an abundance of new product launches giving buyers the opportunity to see what’s new for 2016.
Here’s a taster of who’s exhibiting:
Tom Schneider
Tom Schneider offers artistically designed furniture that is brought to life by highly skilled artisans. G Plan Upholstery
With a heritage dating back to 1898, G Plan continues to manufacturer in the UK. It will showcase the very best of modern British design, with an exciting new collection featuring fabrics inspired by the latest trends and stylish pieces offering latest comfort. G Plan Vintage will feature a glamourous new look, including new models and a range of indulgent new fabrics.
Furniture Origins
Furniture Origins will present new styles and finishes to expand its offer on dining, bedroom and occasional cabinet ranges. The breadth of products includes clean light oak ranges through to painted finishes in various colours, French styling and reclaimed timbers.
Swaffer
