NHBC, the leading warranty and insurance provider for new homes in the UK, will be holding a day of free seminars featuring presentations from industry experts on issues surrounding Facades to Tall Buildings.
There will be two sessions, exploring combustibility of facades to tall buildings, testing procedures and outlining how builders can demonstrate compliance with NHBC Technical requirements and Building Regulations, taking place at the NHBC offices in London on Thursday, July 7th.
Delegates will be able to hear from industry experts from the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Building Research Establishment (BRE), alongside NHBC’s technical staff on the regulatory framework and best practice approaches.
Ian Davis, NHBC Operations Director, said: “NHBC has undertaken a lot of background work looking at re-occurring issues in relation to tall building facades which, along with presentations from guest speakers, will be explained in detail at this one-off event designed to inform the industry.”
The seminars, which are free to NHBC registered builders, are taking place at NHBC, 1 Minster Court, London, EC3R 7AA with registration from 9am and then at 1.30pm for the afternoon session.
