NHBC today announced that Crest Nicholson’s Chief Executive Stephen Stone and Notting Hill Housing’s Chief Executive, Kate Davies have joined its Board as Non-Executive Directors.

Kate joined Notting Hill Housing as CEO in 2004 and was previously Chief Executive of Servite Houses and Director of Housing in Brighton and Hove.
Isabel Hudson, NHBC Chair, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stephen and Kate to NHBC’s Board. In their roles as Non-Executive Directors they will both bring a wealth of experience to NHBC. Their clear understanding of the issues that matter most in house building will be an invaluable asset.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing Board member Greg Fitzgerald for his contribution to NHBC and his years of outstanding service.”
Commenting on his appointment, Stephen Stone said; “Having worked in the house building industry since the 1980s I am fully aware of the unique and pivotal role NHBC plays in supporting builders to deliver the country’s new homes and in raising standards for the people who wish to buy them.
“I am looking forward to making a contribution towards these key objectives over the coming months and years.”
Kate Davies added: “I am really pleased to be joining the NHBC Board of Directors at this critical time for the industry. I welcome this opportunity to be involved in the organisation’s future work which will ultimately help to drive up standards for residents and homeowners across the country.”
