Mizen Group has had a strong start to the year, securing new sites in Charlton and Finchley which together will deliver 107 new residential units for completion in 2018.
Located within the Charlton Riverside Master Plan area, a 3-minute walk from Charlton Railway Station in the London Borough of Greenwich, the first site will see a total of 73 homes developed in partnership with Family Mosaic Housing Association.
A new seven-storey building will provide commercial space on the ground floor and six storeys of residential above, comprising a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments including 11 affordable homes, due for completion in late 2018. The total GDV of the scheme is £26m.
The privately-owned developer has also completed a deal to deliver 34 residential units on the site of former offices at Adastra House, Nether Street, off Finchley High Road in N3, just 150 metres from Finchley Central tube station.
The six-storey building will provide 27 private and 7 shared ownership one, two and three-bedroom apartments with an expected GDV of £17m. The ground floor will be occupied by office space with a secure basement car park below. Demolition work is due to commence later this month with construction of the new building set to start in April and delivery of the completed scheme expected in Autumn 2018. Prices are yet to be finalised but are expected to start from £375,000.
