[London: 24th April 2017] Prominent London property developer Linton Group has announced the launch of Parker House, located on Paddington’s Cuthbert Street. Parker House consists of 19 refurbished luxury units which were made available for sale at an open house event on Saturday 22nd April. The homes start at £570,000 and are due to be completed and ready for occupation later this year.
Designed by Clive Sall Architecture, the development comprises of a combination of one and two bedroom apartments. Sleek modern interiors will bring the apartments into the 21st century, whilst retaining the building’s unique period charm with a brick façade, dormer roof and timber sash windows. The flats range in size from 436 to 1286 sq. ft with all apartments benefitting from ceiling heights of up to 3.4m. Most have private access to outdoor space, from ground floor courtyards to balconies and terraces. New residents are also eligible for a 25 year Car Club subscription and secure cycle storage.
Distinguished by design, the apartment interiors have been produced by specialist residential interior design studio Gordon-Duff & Linton, a sister company of Linton Group. Specialising in both classic and architectural interior design, Gordon-Duff & Linton has been involved in the project from the outset, ensuring the layout of the building and apartment floor plans are designed to provide the best use of space for modern living.
Parker House, previously known as 5A Cuthbert Street, was named after the architect of the original building. Situated at the heart of the capital close to a number of London landmarks, residents will be able to enjoy the area’s sprawling parks and inviting urban spaces, from Lord’s Cricket Ground to Rembrandt Gardens, the West End, Serpentine Gallery and Regent Park’s Open Air Theatre. Little Venice, with its winding canals and tree-lined streets, which have provided Paddington with a tranquil escape for generations is on the doorstep, and Marylebone is just a short walk away with its high streets of boutiques, book shops and restaurants. Once the haunt of writers and artists, the picturesque district now boasts a plethora of bars and cafés.
Linton Group’s development also boasts enviable transport links into central London. Edgware Road and Warwick Avenue Tube Stations are all within convenient walking distance, while further connectivity beyond the capital is provided by both Paddington and Marylebone’s Overground services. The area will be further connected to Reading, Heathrow and Shenfield with the opening of Crossrail at Paddington in 2018, supporting 200 million passengers a year and bringing billions to the UK.
