Two of Masthaven’s top team – CEO Andrew Bloom and Managing Director Jon Hall – will be donning shorts and moustaches to take part in the Great North Run on 10th September 2017 in Newcastle. Dressed as the 118 118 characters, Andrew and Jon will run the world’s biggest half marathon alongside 57,000 runners.
All money raised by the duo will be donated to the Gauchers Association (www.gaucher.org.uk) a charity supporting individuals and families suffering from Gaucher disease.
Commenting on the run, Andrew Bloom CEO of Masthaven said: “Gauchers Association is a charity very close to my heart and I’m looking forward to looking silly for a very serious disease. We can’t thank everyone enough who has supported our cause so far. If you are in the area, do come and cheer us along – the Great North Run is a brilliant event.”
Andrew and Jon are collecting donations at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/masthavenbank. Charity cheques are also accepted, but must be made out to Gauchers Association (charity number: 1095657), and sent to 11 Soho Street, London, W1D 3AD.
