TMB Celebrates 400+ Years of Pro Cable Assembly Experience

In a modest ceremony this week at TMB Los Angeles, the 10-year anniversaries of three of the company’s cable assembly technicians were celebrated.  All three are part of a distinct companywide group of professional, highly-skilled cabling technicians, of whom TMB is justifiably very proud.  Also a matter of great pride at TMB is its Pro Cables division’s worldwide cabling staff of over 50, with an average tenure of close to eight years, representing over 400 years of combined experience!

Says TMB Global Operations Manager, Jonny Starr, “Half our cabling staff have been with TMB for more than 10 years, and frankly, it shows.  Experienced, conscientious and highly trained cabling techs such as Lidia Rodriguez, Rosa Hernandez, and Jose Granados, who were recently recognized in LA, contribute significantly to making TMB’s cable assemblies the standard to which all others are compared.”

Since 1983, TMB has supplied entertainment production and staging professionals with the world’s highest quality power and data cables and assemblies.  TMB was the first to design and build custom, proprietary cables, connectors, and assemblies specifically for this demanding market.  TMB cables are valued throughout the industry for their peerless reliability, handling characteristics, and long life.  In addition, TMB’s unique ProPlex data cables are trusted for their very high data transmission quality and noise rejection, both critical factors in today’s high-tech show environment.  Also, in recent years, TMB has introduced a proprietary range of extremely durable, armored ProPlex Fibre cables and breakouts, which, like all TMB portable cables, are made for the road.

In addition to the wide range of portable cables, TMB has developed a comprehensive range of specialized proprietary cables for permanent installations, and has partnered with many of the world’s leading venues on the design and supply of specialized custom cables for many different and challenging applications.

TMB manufactures cable assemblies in four locations – Los Angeles, London, New York, and Toronto.  All assemblies are built to order, to customers’ exact specifications, including custom printed labelling, color-coding, ties, etc. and all delivered to TMB’s famous Rush Service Normal standard.  Decades of real-world, touring experience is manifested in every TMB cable and assembly, proven again and again to be dependable night after night, mile after mile, through whatever life on the road throws at them.  Lean more about the wide range of cables available from TMB at www.tmb.com/pro_cables.
