Temporary power equipment specialists Mather+Stuart is helping bring Christmas on ice to shoppers in Gloucester and Derby.
Generators have been supplied to power chillers for pop-up festive ice rinks at a shopping outlet village in Gloucester and the Cathedral Quarter in Derby.
Two 200kVA JCB T3A emission synchronised gen-sets have been provided at Gloucester Quays while two 150kVA gen-sets have been provided to keep things cool in Derby’s Market Place.
Both ice rinks are managed and run by Christmas Ice Rink Ltd, which is a sister company of Showplace Ltd, the event infrastructure specialists.
It is the third year in a row that Mather+Stuart has supplied generators for the ice-skating festivities in Derby, which run throughout December.
Meanwhile, it is the first time that the specialist division of A-Plant – the UK’s largest equipment rental company – has supplied equipment at Gloucester Quays, which is hosting its winter celebrations until January 2nd.
