Boosting its portfolio of RIBA accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes, Europe’s leading material specialist, FunderMax has launched one designed specifically for the interior market – the first of its kind in the industry.
Accredited earlier this month, this engaging CPD programme aims to help attendees understand how interior high pressure laminates are manufactured and applied, and what qualities they should look for when selecting such materials for interior applications. This new CPD allows architects and designers to explore these qualities and challenges in more detail. As well as profiling recent projects, it also offers the opportunity to take a closer look at FunderMax’s ever expanding Interior Collection.
[Paul Hughes, Director of Sales UK from FunderMax comments, “As the first RIBA accredited programme for interiors, we’re excited to be leading the way when it comes to high pressure laminates.
“Our programme will provide an introduction to Interior Compact Grade High Pressure Laminates, as well as exploring the manufacture and specification of the material including the properties of a typical compact laminate board and how they are fabricated and applied to building interiors.”
CPD seminars usually take around an hour, giving enough time to pose any questions and discuss project references in more detail.
With an experienced décor team that has developed, tested and evaluated hundreds of decors and surfaces, FunderMax’s new Interior Collection, which includes a comprehensive range of on-trend decors and surface options, enables designers and architects to realise their visions.
Paul Hughes, (Director of Sales UK) concludes, “As well as providing a source of inspiration, our new surfaces and nine interior finishes are enabling ‘people who create’ to develop the most striking interior design – from beautifully textured furniture, cabinets, panelling and more.
“For example, our on-trend Aptico is really channeling the desires of the most acclaimed interior designers, with its super matt, super smooth surface and next generation patented ‘anti-fingerprint’ surface technology.”
With its sleek appearance, the new Interior Collection offers a completely new look and with its well thought out content, it opens up a world of creative possibilities.
The revolutionary new sample folder features 12 larger sized samples with decors and surfaces arranged according to colour groups and trends. A clever device at its heart, holds everything in place, yet offers the flexibility to mix, match and present samples as desired.
To complete the collection, FunderMax has launched show:room, an online platform which is rich with engaging content including design highlights, project references and a social media feed – all brought together in one sleek package.
