The introduction of emergency vents and gauge hatches is in addition to the breather valve and flame arrester products which Elfab has been supplying to customers since 2016.
Tank protection equipment is used for the protection of low pressure storage tanks where insufficient pressure relief will cause the tank to explode or insufficient vacuum relief, resulting in an implosion; the consequence of both being a total loss of the storage tank resulting in expensive replacement costs.
Elfab’s emergency vents protect the storage tank in the event of a fire whilst gauge hatches are used for easy inspection or sampling.
