Consort Claudgen’s SL wireless control heating system is an ideal heating system for domestic and commercial premises such as homes, student accommodation, hotels, modular buildings and offices. It provides building owners or operators a variety of heating control options through four different wireless controllers, which are designed with functionalities aimed at restricting excessive energy consumption and improving heating efficiency. The SLPB, SLVT, SLVTB and SLTI wireless controllers have easy-to-use control buttons, can set comfort and setback temperature settings and can be connected to one or multiple SL heaters in a room or area, including low surface temperature heaters.
The SLPB and SLVT controllers have a control button with status indicators and a 4-stage run-back timer where a heating period remains active until the run-back timer expires. There is a choice of three time periods available in the run-back timer mode: 5, 15 or 30 minutes. When the button is pressed four times, this takes the run-back time period to 20, 60 or 120 minutes.
Additionally, the SLVT offers temperature control and a digital display to show the room temperature. Unlike the SLPB, room occupiers can now adjust the room temperature to their comfort. However, they cannot increase it beyond the maximum comfort temperature set by the building owners or operators. This feature can be essential for the latter wanting greater control over their heating system and costs whilst providing occupiers the flexibility to adjust the room temperature to their comfort.
The SLVTB controller is identical to the SLVT, except it is battery-powered and the status indicators are shown on the display screen.
The SLTI, on the other hand, features an electronic timer offering up to three heating periods per day, seven days a week. It is designed with four large control buttons with audible and tactile feedback and an electronic lock to prevent tampering with the controls. There are four operating modes including a 15-minute Boost with temperature control to provide the maximum comfort quickly.
The SLPB, SLVT and SLTI controllers will fit onto any standard one gang box and are mains 240V or 12VDC powered. The SLVTB is supplied with a single gang box and two ‘AAA’ 1.5V batteries.
With four wireless controllers to choose from, the SL heating system provides building owners or operators a better control over their heating and costs.
